{tab Itinerary} Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore

Arrive at the Bangalore airport to a warm welcome by our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka state and it is also called as 'Garden' city. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a half-day city tour of Bangalore covering places such as Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park, Iskcon Sri Krishna Temple, Bull Temple, Vidhana Soudha, M.G Road, Museum, Ulsoor Lake, Commercial Street, etc. Return to the hotel after the tour and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2:Bangalore - Mysore (140 kms. | 4 hours)

After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Mysore. On way, visit Srirangapattana. This history-rich town was the capital of the warrior kings Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, The Tiger of Mysore. Visit Tipu Sultan's Palace, Ranganathaswamy Temple, Gumbaz, Nimishamba temple and Sangam. On arrival in Mysore, check-in to your hotel and then proceed for a local tour of Mysore. Visit Mysore Palace and later, visit Chamundi hills, temple of Goddess Chamundeshwari. Also check out the Mysore Zoo, where you can see some rare wildlife species. In the evening, proceed to the world famous Brindavan Garden and later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mysore

After a delectable breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Ooty. On the way, visit the Mudumalai Forest, Bandipur Forest and Pykara Dam. Mudumalai means ‘old hills’. It was one of the first wildlife sanctuaries in the country. Today, Mudumalai is a safe refuge for the largest land mammal on earth and it is famous for its elephants. Bandipur is full of evergreen forests and grasslands. Pykara Dam is situated at a distance of 19 kms from Ooty. On arrival in Ooty, check-in at the hotel and in the evening, enjoy shopping and other activities. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4:Ooty - Sightseeing tour

After a delicious breakfast, proceed for a combined tour of Ooty and Coonoor. Visit the world famous Botanical Garden built in 1847. It is a well-maintained garden covering an area of 22 acres and has 2000 different species of trees. Later, proceed to the Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak of Ooty. It is a great place to enjoy spectacular views of the mountainous valleys and peaks. Afterwards, visit Ooty Lake, an artificial lake constructed between 1823 and 1825 by Mr. John Sullivan. You can also go boating and horseback riding around the lake. Ooty Lake is one of the most popular tourist spots in Ooty. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Coonoor, which is situated 17 kms away from Ooty. On arrival in Coonoor, visit Sims Park. It has beautiful lawns and an extensive collection of trees and plants. Later, visit Lamb's Rock, Wellington Island, and Ketti Valley. Return to Ooty in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5:Ooty - Kodaikanal (236 kms/8hrs approx)

After an appetizing breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Kodaikanal. On the way, take a break at Coimbatore for shopping. Also known as the Manchester of South, Coimbatore is one of the leading industrialized cities in South India. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Kodaikanal. This pleasant hill station is situated on the Palni Hills, part of Nilgiri, 120 km North West of Madurai town. On arrival in Kodaikanal, check-in at the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 6:Kodaikanal - Sightseeing tour

After a delightful breakfast, proceed for a half-day local tour of Kodaikanal, visiting places such as Bryant Park, which is famous for flowers, hybrids and rafts. Also visit Coaker's Walk, named after Lt. Coaker, who prepared the map of Kodaikanal. Kodai Lake is a magnificent man-made lake, which spreads out in the shape of a star over sixty acres. Later, visit Pillar Rocks Telescope Houses from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains. Return to the hotel in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7:Kodaikanal - Madurai (120kms/4hrs approx)

After a sumptuous breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Madurai. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later, proceed for a local tour of Madurai, visiting places such as the Meenakshi Temple, museum, etc. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and you can also go for shopping and other activities. In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 8:Madurai - Thekkady (Periyar) (160kms/5hrs approx)

After a hearty breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Thekkady, also known as Periyar. On arrival in Thekkady, check-in at the hotel. Periyar has one of the most fascinating wildlife sanctuaries in the world, the greatest attraction being wild elephants. In the evening, enjoy boating on the Periyar Lake, elephant riding, etc. Later, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 9:Thekkady - Munnar (105kms/3hrs approx)

After a delectable breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Munnar, also known as the King of Hills. Munnar is situated at a distance of 110 kms from Cochin and 1600 meters above sea level. This hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. On arrival in Munnar, check-in at the resort and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure exploring this beautiful hill station on your own. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 10:Munnar - Sightseeing tour

After a hearty breakfast, proceed for a full-day local sightseeing tour of Munnar, visiting places such as Pothamedu for beautiful views of tea, coffee & cardamom plantations & breathtaking hills & lush mountains. Also visit the Echo Point, Thoovanam waterfalls, Top Station Dairy Farm and Mattupetty Lake ∓ Dam. In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 11:Munnar - Allepey

After a sumptuous breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Alleppey/Kumarakom, an enchanting backwater destination and a small village that is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy the remaining time at leisure. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12:Alleppey/Kumarakom

After breakfast, you have the day to yourself to explore Allepey/Kumarakom at leisure. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13:Alleppey/Kumarakom - Cochin (90 kms. | 2 hours)

After breakfast, check-out of your hotel and proceed to Cochin. On arrival, transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination. Tour concludes.
